TOS Dominicana Workers coming to campus!

Georgetown Solidarity Committee is hosting two workers from the TOS Dominicana factory in the Dominican Republic where serious worker rights abuses have been exposed. The two workers will be talking about the fight for better conditions and wages they have been waging at the factory. Workers have experienced intimidation, verbal abuse, forced and unpaid overtime, while Hanes management refuses to address the problems in the factory.

We have been working in solidarity with these workers for over a year now, through actions, demonstrations, and with Georgetown administrators to pressure Georgetown's licensed supplier, Steve & Barry, to comply with workers' demands around this case.
